In 2013, 80 giant Gromit sculptures adorned the streets of Bristol for 10 weeks before going to auction to help raise funds for Bristol Children’s Hospital. The auction raised an astonishing £2.3 million.
“From small local companies to national corporations, a whole host of businesses generously came on board to sponsor our sculptures and some smashing artists and household names from the worlds of film, music, art, animation and fashion, such as Sir Quentin Blake, Cath Kidston, Nick Park and Disney Pixar, lent their talents to design the dogs.”
On Monday 30 June, 2025 Gromit Unleashed will be back in Bristol, bigger and better than ever. Watch this space!
