I think we can all agree that 2022 has been a very busy year for us – it’s been ‘all systems go’ on site. So, we thought it would be fun to do a little roundup which celebrates some of our achievements. Here’s our year in just a few numbers…
In 2022 we have:
- Hired 56 different trade specialists

Put in over 35,000 hours of man power
- Used over 1,480 litres of paint
- Started restoration work on a 300-year-old mural
- Used 615m2 c natural copper for roofing
- Uncovered 3 hidden fireplaces
- Worked with original materials that are over 600 years old
There are countless other honourable mentions we could have included, but we’ll keep it brief!
We’re rather proud of all the progress we’ve made so far and are now ready for the festive break before getting back to it. 2023 is going to be a very important year for us as we work towards the grand opening and welcoming our first visitors.
