As part of the exhibition ‘Where You Find Your Self,’ Dorset Visual Arts presents an illustrated talk by Jon Woolcott, author of Real Dorset.
Jon will share some stories of hidden Dorset—the strange, the radical, and the lost. He will explore how these histories are woven into our sense of place and how writers and artists have found meaning in the landscape.
Jon Woolcott is the author of Real Dorset and the editor of the recent anthology Going to Ground. His next book will explore cultural geography in English landscapes. He works for the Dorset publisher Little Toller Books.
