Sagat Guirey on Guitar“I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and have played in many bands with lots of different styles – jazz, rock, funk, bluegrass, gypsy, Django jazz, some detuned modern prog type metal. Being classically trained in London, I  later attended the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angles, specialising in jazz guitar, composition and arranging. I was lucky to have private lessons with the great Ted Greene and Phil Upchurch. More recently I studied gypsy jazz with Lollo Meier in The Netherlands. And also with Sheryl Bailey and Jonathan Kreisberg. I have composed music for film, TV and commercials and have worked with many artists, including Nigel Kennedy and Robert Trujillo.”
